    Complete research on some sort of propaganda picture that will sway  public opinion. (positive or negative)  The picture has to be printed and handed in.  Use google and google image to research.  Be sure to understand the meaning behind the message.

     This can be a sensitive issue so please use discretion when deciding on a piece.  If a student wants to use a picture from a significant historical period that would be fine, but try to discover a modern topic at first.

    THURSDAY -   Students must create two article titles for their 'French Revolution Newspaper' assignment accompanied by notes to support each article.  This article will be written in class and taken from the perspective of someone from the Third Estate.  This is your chance to express your feelings as well as inform all of France of the complaints of the Third Estate and expose the privileges of the First & Second Estate as well as the inability of King Louis XVI to help France during these troubled times.  
    Due Monday- Two articles titles.
                         - Notes to support each article.
                         -Use the extra packet handed out in class as well as the Causes packet handed out on Tuesday. 
                         - Be prepared to type your article in class on Monday.

    MONDAY -  Complete the writing assignment for the project that  will be due on Wednesday.  Each student must complete two rough drafts of a newspaper article that ultimately describes two causes of the French Revolution.  Each article should be at least two paragraphs long hand-written.  The article should be written from the perspective of someone from the third estate.  Try and create interest in the first paragraph, be creative and stir the revolution!  The second paragraph should be filled with facts from the notes etc.  Each student will also need a title for each article and headline for the newspaper that relates to the situation.  The project, the newspaper template itself, and all the notes can be found on my faculty page under World History Files.
