This year we will climb aboard the Mayflower and sail into the New World.  We will stand proudly on the scaffold with Hester Prynne and endure the righteous scorn of her Puritan people. We'll delve into the depths of his despair as we travel door-to-door with Willy Loman.  Along side John Proctor, we will defend honesty, define integrity, and preserve our names.  We will quoth the raven, "Nevermore." We will dance the night away in a speakeasy with Jay Gatsby.   We will peep into Boo Radley's window in the night.  And when we come across two roads diverging in a yellow wood, we will take the one less traveled.  This year we will embark on a journey that tells the story of our country and the people who have shaped it.  We will take a close look at universal emotions: our passions, our hungers, our triumphs and failures and explore the mysteries of the human heart.

"Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself. "
    Henry Miller
