Language is a culture. When you get to see the culture, you’ll want to learn the language. World languages are an essential part of the education of all students. The primary goal of our world language program is effective communication. Culture is also an integral part of world language learning. Spanish 1 Foundations and Spanish 1 are beginner level classes in which students will develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. The courses will help students gain an understanding and an appreciation for the language, culture, and geography of Spanish speaking countries. Although grammar will play a significant role in the course, basic conversational fluency and comprehension will also be emphasized.
Classwork, homework, and announcements will all be posted on the Google Classroom pages specifically assigned to students class periods. Students should access the Google Classroom page through the Google Suite for any information that you may be seeking regarding our class.
