LAKELAND REGIONAL HS BOARD OF EDUCATION – SPECIAL MEETING
PUBLIC NOTICE – FOR MAY 28, 2020, VIRTUAL PUBLIC BOARD MEETING
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975 c 231 this is to advise that the Lakeland Regional HS Board of Education will hold a SPECIAL VIRTUAL Public Board meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2020, beginning at 7:00 PM. Formal action will be taken. Board agenda will be posted on the district website.
LOCATION OF MEETING: The meeting will take place VIRTUALLY according to instructions that will be posted on the District Website at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. The public may join by telephone using the dial-in instructions posted.
The known purpose of this meeting is to vote on whether the Board of Education will approve the terms, stipulations, and conditions established in a Sidebar Agreement with the Lakeland Education Association (LEA) regarding the paraprofessionals.
Depending upon the outcome of this vote, the 2nd purpose of this meeting is to vote on whether to accept or reject the submitted proposals from a vendor providing Paraprofessional Services in response to Lakeland’s recent RFP bid opening which occurred on Friday, May 8 at 11:00 AM.

Public comments will be accepted via email. Members of the public who wish to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting should submit comments via email to comments@lakeland.k12.nj.us up to and including the Public Comments portions of the meeting on May 28, 2020. Comments/questions will be read aloud & addressed individually enforcing the 3-minute maximum per comment as allowed by Board Policy. Formal action will be taken.
