The Lakeland Regional High School Board of Education needs the perspectives of all of our stakeholders as we begin the search for our new Chief School Administrator. Our Search Consultant, Kathy Helewa, will be visiting our school to meet with students, teachers and staff, and administrators, and with our Lakeland families and community members in the evening. These sessions will not be meetings of the Lakeland Board of Education and Board members will not be present.

We urge our families and community members to meet Ms. Helewa in the Lecture Hall from 6pm-7pm on Wednesday, December 10 to share your perspectives. An anonymous online input survey will be available for all of our school stakeholders in early December as well via a link on our school district website on the CSA/Superintendent Search page

ACTION NEEDED – MEAL BENEFITS

Parents/Guardians: If you did NOT get a letter stating, your child is directly certified for free/reduced meals for 2025-2026 through Medicaid, SNAP, or NJ TANF, or if you have not already submitted a new application, you must submit a new application NOW!

2024-2025 meal eligibility status ends 30 days after school starts – without a new approved application, your child’s status will change to PAID and you will be charged for meals.

Public Announcement: Accessing Board Meeting Agendas and Minutes

Effective with the Board of Education meeting scheduled for July 15, 2025, members of the public will be able to access meeting agendas and minutes through our new online platform.

To view agendas and minutes:

Visit our district website at https://www.lakeland.k12.nj.us/
Navigate to the Menu/Board of Education section.
Click on "About Board Docs/Agendas and Minutes" to view current and future documents.

Agendas will be posted at least 48 hours prior to each scheduled meeting. Minutes will be available following Board approval, typically at the next regular meeting.
