Dear Lakeland Regional High School Parents, Students, and Staff,

Each year, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) proudly recognizes outstanding educators and educational support specialists through the Governor’s Educator of the Year (GEOY) Program. This program offers a valuable opportunity to formally celebrate the dedication, talent, and significant impact of our teachers and support staff on the lives of Lakeland Regional students.

We respectfully invite you to participate by nominating a member of the Lakeland Regional High School staff who demonstrates excellence in their role.

Nominations are open for two categories:

Governor’s Educator of the Year (Teacher): This award honors a classroom teacher who demonstrates outstanding teaching, leadership, and deep commitment to the success of all students.

Educational Services Professional of the Year: This award recognizes a support staff member, such as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, secretary, or custodian, who provides exceptional service and support to the school community.

The Lancer Band came home from Wayne Valley this week with a 1st place finish in group 3A with new season high score of 81.0 We look forward to next week as we bring our show to MetLife Stadium along with over 40 other bands as part of the Ludwig Musser Cup!

Our Fall Pep Rally was absolutely ELECTRIC! ⚡️ From the hilarious Potato Sweep and Limbo to the epic Tug O' War and the energy of our Lancer Band and Cheerleaders, our school spirit is unmatched. Dear Lancers, Parents, and Guardians,

This email serves as a reminder regarding the PSAT (PSAT/NMSQT) administration scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7th.

Attendance Requirement:
All students in Grades 9, 10, and 11 are required to report to school on Tuesday, October 7th, for an Early Dismissal Schedule. Testing sessions will take place during periods 1 and 2 and are scheduled to conclude promptly at 10:40 AM.

Information for Seniors (Grade 12):
Students in Grade 12 are not required to report to school on Tuesday, October 7th, unless they have been individually designated to participate in testing.

Afternoon Schedule for Grades 9-11 (10:40 AM - 12:25 PM):
Following the conclusion of the PSAT at 10:40 AM, students in grades 9-11 will follow a special afternoon schedule that includes lunch, an Activities Fair, and a grade-level assembly. Please see below for more information:

9th Grade - 10:40-11:15 AM - Lunch | 11:15-11:50 AM- Activities Fair | 11:50 - 12:25 PM - Assembly
