The heat is rising! After weeks of intense engineering and fine-tuning, Team 223 is ready to unleash our newest robot, Inferno, at our upcoming competition. We’ve pushed our design to the limit, and we can’t wait for you to see it in action.
Meet the New Inferno
Our "SEAR" design philosophy—Simplicity, Efficiency, Accessibility, and Reliability—has led to a total robot redesign. Inferno is now faster, smarter, and more powerful thanks to these key upgrades:
Dropdown Intake V2: An articulating system designed for low-profile, high-speed field acquisition.
Expanding Hopper: A dynamic structure that allows us to acquire and manage a large volume of game pieces.
Wider 3-Ball Shooter: A high-throughput launcher capable of firing three balls with pinpoint accuracy.
Limelight Vision & Auto-Align: Vision-guided targeting and robust autonomous routines ensure we never miss a mark.
Competition Details: Mt. Olive District Event
Join us this weekend as we compete against the best in the region!
When: Saturday, March 28th – Sunday, March 29th
Where: Mt. Olive High School, NJ
Your support fuels our passion for engineering and excellence. Let’s make some noise for Team 223!
Go Xtreme Heat!

Please join Lakeland's Future Business Leaders of America for a fun and crafty night, May 15th in the LRHS cafeteria. These signs are excellent quality (I have a few), so much fun to make, and the event will be a great way to have some fun with friends while supporting a local business and our students all at one time! If you know me, you know I will be making the daisy one. Hope to see you there. For questions, email tozdemir@lakeland.k12.nj.us.

🎉Congratulations to Janell Sullich and Coach Larry Mahurter for being recognized at the PCCA Victory & Honor Award Dinner!
