Lancers - they are going fast! Did you get your Lakeland Yearbook yet? We have officially handed out all of the books that were preordered and have a handful still available for sale. Secure yours today, before the last of them are gone. Online sales have ended but you can still get one by emailing me directly at tozdemir@lakeland.k12.nj.us, $109 cash or check (made payable to the school). If your student is taking finals this week, they can find me in room 412. If not, we can arrange a pickup with the Main Office. Don’t wait. Once they are gone, we cannot reorder.

Ceramics & Sculpture students finished the year strong with Pinch Pot Coral Reef sculptures inspired by the work of Courtney Mattison-ceramic artist and climate activist.

Neurographic Art watercolor paintings done by Art 1 allowed students to focus on the power of positive change and conscious decision making throughout an abstract composition. Their use of watercolor techniques and different embroidery stitches made for unique artworks that relaxed the students as they created.

Pop, Jazz, Classical and more! The Lakeland Small Ensembles played to a fantastic audience last night!

Lancers - Yearbooks will be distributed to seniors ONLY, tomorrow June 3rd during block 1. Seniors  will be called down alphabetically.  Underclassmen will receive their yearbooks on Thursday June 4th during block 1 and will be called down alphabetically. Books are still available for purchase but are extremely limited in number and are available on a first come, first serve basis. If you still wish to purchase one, please send $109 cash or check (payable to the school) with your Lancer on their scheduled day.

From amazing song covers to original poetry and creative dance performances, our students shared their talents and made the afternoon truly memorable. The Spring Coffee House was more than just a showcase - it was an opportunity for students to connect, support one another, and celebrate the creativity that makes our school community so special.

A huge thank you to the performers, audience members, and Mr. Kelly & Mr. Kel Pilshaw who helped make the event a success. We can't wait to see what our talented Lancers bring to the stage next!

Thank you to our hometown friends at the Rt 23 Auto Mall for taking the time talk to us about job opportunities at the dealership. Our CORE and STEP students loved the tour as well as being featured on their billboard- check them out !!

Rising Seniors and Parents -

The time has come! The portal to schedule Senior Class Portraits has just opened and you are able to start scheduling for July sessions. I understand that many of you may be away during this week but rest assured that later dates WILL become available after these have passed. However, time slots fill up fast and future dates are LIMITED. Additionally, if you wait for one of the later dates, you may not allow yourself enough time if retakes are needed. I do not recommend waiting, if it is not necessary.
