Art 1-4 Modified and World Cultures joined forces again for our Japan units! Today, students create ink blown cherry blossom paintings!
Students chose warm or cool colors to paint their backgrounds, and then used a straw to blow ink across their page to act as the tree branches. Students then added tissue paper for the cherry blossoms!

UPAL hosted its 4th Annual STEM Symposium with 100+ participants from surrounding districts. Lakeland students earned top prizes in every category—an incredible achievement. Great work to all who made this event a success, especially our keynote speaker, Mr. Peter Kelly!

Calling all future medical professionals - D.E.M., LRHS’ medical club, is thrilled to host a Nurses Panel, featuring local nureses ready to share their stories, advice, and a look at the tools of the trade.
