Our next Unsung Lancer Leader is junior Santino Celentano! During remote learning, Tino is always the first one to log on with a smile and a hello. Tino's work is always completed and submitted on time and is engaged and actively participates in classroom discussions.


All Lakeland athletic games played in the West Gym, (starting tomorrow), and in the East Gym (beginning Feb 1), will be broadcast live on the NFHS Network. This includes all levels of boys and girls basketball, cheerleading, dance, wrestling and boys and girls volleyball.
Lakeland Varsity Boys Basketball officially starts tomorrow, Wed. January 27, 5:30 v Cliffside Park H and JV and freshmen home at 4:15. Lakeland Varsity Girls basketball opens on Thursday January 28, 5:30 home v West Milford with JV at 4 and freshmen at 5:30.

Art 1-4 Modified students channeled their inner Jackson Pollocks while creating “Action Art” paintings today!

We start the week recognizing sophomore Jessica Franqueira! Jessica always participates and completes assignments on time. Whether virtual or in-person, Jessica has a positive attitude towards the lesson at hand! Jessica shows us how to approach each class as a proud Lancer!


Winter season 2A officially begins in- person practice on Monday, Feb. 1, for any student interested in swimming, winter track, cheerleading or dance. Intersted students must hand in a physical and all permission forms ASAP.
Wrestling and Girls Volleyball begin March 1.
After a very impressive Fall season in which Lakeland teams won nearly 70% of all contests, the Winter season is off to a great start as Lakeland Ice Hockey handily defeated rival West Milford/Pequannock 5 - 1. The dominant Lancer defense allowed only 6 shots all game.
The Virtual Enterprise NY Metro Executive Team gave us feedback on a conference call on our Business Plan. Wish us luck in our regional level competition on January 27th. We’re proud of all our associates work on this business plan!

Today’s Unsung Lancer Leader is junior Brynn Mahurter. Brynn is an extremely dedicated student, and whether it be in person or remotely, she excels. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail in her work, and positive attitude are all qualities that make her an outstanding student!


Congratulations to Thomas Williams, one of Lakeland’s Student of the Month. Thomas is an accomplished artist and athlete, as well as a dedicated worker in our STEP program.
