Class of 2024 Parents - I am pleased to announce that over half of you have already scheduled Senior Portrait appointments and that number is growing daily! You should have received information from Prestige already but if you did not:

2. Go to the second part that reads "Don’t have your appointment code?" And enter the appropriate information to find your student and schedule an appointment.

Students interested in college-level, NCAA sports. The 2023-24 Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete is now available at https://bit.ly/3QJ4KLr. Students should become familiar with the requirements. Each year in high school, courses and grades matter!
Passaic County Junior Cadet Academy is a 2-month intensive program for children ages 15-17. Academy runs September 23rd until November 18th on Saturday mornings, from 8:30am-1PM at the Passaic County Police Academy. Applications @ https://bit.ly/3skvPdA are due 8/21.
A "Financial Aid Workshop" will be offered to students & parents next week on August 23rd at 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall. A financial aid expert will present on financial aid, changes to the FAFSA, and student loans. To register, please go to https://bit.ly/3OeFSs2.
Students interested in West Point Military Academy and the academy application process, there is an admissions event at Seton Hall University on 8/27/23 @ 1:00 PM. Please see the attached flyer for the QR code to register for the event.

Lakeland Girls Soccer helping coach future Lakeland Girls soccer players from the Lakeland Junior Soccer Program! They have been helping with their mini camp all week!
Rising senior parents. You should have received a postcard by now from Lifetouch/Prestige but I do realize that you have not.
They have promised me more than once that they have gone out but obviously they did not.
If you do not receive your postcard by next Friday the 4th, please contact me and I will give you your personal code so that you can register for your child's senior pictures.

Lakeland will be administering the PSAT NMSQT to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students this fall. Use the Bluebook app (already installed on your chromebook) to start studying! Don't let your skills get rusty! This test can qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship!

LRHS fishing club was offshore today catching fluke & sea bass. Saw lots of short fluke, with a few nice sized keepers. Some jumbo sea bass today! Tried for shark... couple black tips & browns circling the boat, ran 3 times, no keepers. Overall beautiful day on the water!
